HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Please be advised of the Academy's upcoming holiday schedule. Carroll Academy will conclude the Fall Semester on Wednesday, December 21. Returning students will return for the Spring Semester on Wednesday, January 4. The 2011-2012 School Calendar may be viewed on page 24 in your Student Handbook or on our website under the Calendar tab. The Staff at Carroll Academy extend to you a very safe and happy holiday season.

CARROLL ACADEMY THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Please be advised that Carroll Academy will be closed on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Carroll Academy will resume the normal schedule on Monday, November 28.

CARROLL ACADEMY CLOSED NOVEMBER 11

Carroll Academy will be closed on November 11, 2011 in observance of Veteran's Day. The Academy will re-open as scheduled on November 14 and will follow the normal schedule of activities for that day.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE SCHEDULED

Please be advised that students will not attend classes on Friday, October 14 due to our Fall Parent/Teacher Conference. All parents and guardians of Carroll Academy students are strongly encouraged to attend this conference to receive important feedback on your student's progress. The Conference will begin at 3:00 and will end promptly at 6:00. The Conference will follow a come and go format. For questions please contact the Academy at 731-986-1350. Hope to see you here.

Carroll Academy will be closed Monday, September 5 in observance of Labor Day. The Academy will reopen on Tuesday, September 6 and follow the normal schedule of activities.

SUMMER SESSION CONCLUDES WITH HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION

SUMMER 2011 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES

The Summer Session at Carroll Academy concluded on July 29. Students, staff, family and friends gathered at 10:30 in the cafeteria to recognize students who graduated the program and those who received high school diplomas. The Academy completed another successful year due to the efforts of our dedicated staff and students willing to challenge themselves to make positive choices. Congratulations to each student who worked so hard to achieve program and high school graduation. The High School Graduates include: Bernice Petty and Daniel Guy.

BARDWELL MAKES ALL-DISTRICT

Marcus Bardwell was named to the District 13-A All District Team. Mr. Bardwell led his teammates in a successful 2010-2011 season. His leadership and impressive play spurred the Jaguars to very competitive play throughout each game. The most notable games include two district wins over Gleason and Huntingdon. He averaged 16.1 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists per game. His season free throw percentage was 65% and field goal percentage was 52%. Congratulations Marcus.

CARROLL ACADEMY GRADUATION 2011

May 20, 2011: Carroll Academy completed another successful year. The Spring Semester concluded with our Graduation Exercises. Five students were awarded High School Diplomas as each successfully fulfilled the requirements for high school graduation. Those Graduating are: Brittian Thompson, Jarodd Cherry, Melanie Murphy, Marcus Bardwell and Adam Johnson. Congratulations on a job well done. The Academy offers you best wishes in your future and post graduation education and plans.
